Lekso Podiashvili is a talented young artist who has Down syndrome. Lekso has been drawing since he was a toddler and has developed his own distinct style. Modigliani is his favorite artist, and he especially enjoys painting portraits - "I think the eyes are the most important in portraits, I look at them and feel what they are thinking," says Lekso. For the Down Syndrome Association Foundation of Georgia, whose symbol is an umbrella, Lekso drew umbrellas with a specific load. The foundation will receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these lovely socks.
